I work with people who are healing from
life threatening illness. What many people don’t know is that I healed myself of life-threatening Cancer more than 20 years ago, without surgery or medical intervention.
The date was October 9th, 1987. My doctor told me that the small lump on the back of my neck was a highly malignant cancer. I had four months to live.
The finest doctors at UCLA and USC told me the same thing. If I didn’t have immediate surgery, I had a 100% chance of dying. Not a 98% chance of dying, not a 99% chance of dying, but a 100% chance of dying.
I chose not to have surgery.
Out of that experience, I discovered three keys to living. These keys will change your life, if you put them into action.
-
FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU
I chose to heal myself. I followed a strict diet and dialogued with the cancer every day. I viewed the cancer as a beloved friend that was trying to teach me something. I lived by my own set of rules.
Most people carry around a Book of Rules that’s filled with "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts", dos and don't s and rights and wrongs that no longer serve us.
You don't get to choose how you're going to die. You can only decide how you're going to live. Live Life by Your Own Rules. Listen to your
CORE. Find what works for you.

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO
I put the power of my own belief into action. Within four months, the Cancer was 100% gone. But my life had just begun.
This experience became the blueprint for how I’ve lived my life ever since. Since that date, I’ve accomplished everything in life I set out to do. Why? Because I know that I have the capacity to beat 100 to 0 odds. I know that you
can too.
Your attitude toward life determines life's attitude towards you. In the words of George Bernard Shaw, "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go out and do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

LIVE LIFE FULLY, BECAUSE THERE’S NO TIME TO LOSE
The most important lesson I learned is that death wasn’t prevented. It was only postponed. Death will come calling again, so pursue your dreams while you’re here. In the words of Jackson Browne,
Just do the steps that you’ve been shown
By everyone you’ve ever known,
Until the dance becomes your very own
No matter how close to yours
Another’s life has grown,
In the end there is one dance you’ll do alone.
The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it. Choose life. Live as if this is your last day. There’s no time to lose.
Too many people die with their music still inside them. Let your music be heard. Dance like no one’s watching, sing like no ones listening and love like you've never been hurt.
Albert Einstein once said that, "there are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."
Live your life as if it’s a miracle. Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live. Travel the world. Take risks. Face fears. Fall in love with life over and over again.
Life isn't worth living unless you're willing to take some big chances and go for broke. In the words of Steven Coallier, "Attack life, because it's going to kill you anyway."
Yes, people will talk about you. You might as well give them something to talk about. In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years that counts.
Remember, life isn’t measured by the number of breaths you take. It’s measured by the moments that take your breath away.
Three Keys to Living:
1. Find what works for you.
2. You can do anything you set your mind to and
3. Live life fully because there’s no time to lose.
One day, not too long from now, you will dance that final dance alone. Then, the music will stop playing and your entire life will flash before your very eyes.
Make sure that it’s a life worth watching.
